Broken Bells till vänster
"The High Road" med Broken Bells segrade knappt före "A Line In The Dirt" med Eels medan mycket kritikerhyllade "Halycon" med Delphic kom sist! Så kan det gå.
Broken Bells består av två renommerade namn inom indiemusiken, powerpopbandet Shins' sångare James Mercer och producenten och multiinstrumentalisten Brian Burton alias Danger Mouse. En välförtjänst seger enligt min mening. Jag har gått och nynnat på denna låt hela veckan.
Eels är ett band som egentligen mest handlar om Mark Oliver Everett. Han har gjort i stort sett en skiva om året sedan 1996. Denna senaste, "A Line In The Dirt", handlar helt och hållet om hans separation. Låten gillades av denna kräsna jury och vara bara en poäng efter Broken Bells.
